Location: Knoxville, TN (Onsite)
Travel: Less than 20%

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in commercial and institutional building systems to lead project delivery from concept through construction. Candidates must be licensed PEs or have 10+ years of strong technical experience. EIT certification is an acceptable alternative for non-PEs. This role includes design oversight, internal team collaboration, and client-facing responsibilities in a growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design efforts for commercial and institutional building systems.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, architects, and contractors.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross-discipline collaboration.
  • Contribute to business development, proposals, and client strategy as needed.

Requirements
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • PE license strongly preferred OR 10+ years of high-level experience
  • EIT certification is acceptable for non-PEs
  • Revit proficiency required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills
  • <20% travel; relocation assistance available
