POSITION SUMMARY
The Supervisor is accountable for daily execution across assigned work areas. This role leads hourly teams through department leadership, coordinating staffing and workflow across lines/areas to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time performance. The Supervisor maintains an active floor presence, resolves operational issues, and ensures effective administrative oversight. Responsibilities include training employees on processes and procedures, maintaining accurate and timely records, documenting employee activities, completing performance reviews, and developing and coaching direct reports to meet company expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns daily staffing within assigned room/area(s). Moves labor, coordinates coverage, and responds to changing conditions.
  • Provides direction to Crew Leaders and Team Leaders. Confirms standard work is followed and that issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Maintains strong floor presence. Actively manages flow with focus on bottlenecks, WIP, labor balance, and overall efficiency.
  • Leads first-level response for issues. Works with direct reports and supporting teams to respond and escalate, and supports root-cause thinking and supporting measures.
  • Owns required daily/weekly administrative routines such as production tracking, accuracy/completion of inputs, documentation, ect.
  • Provides performance coaching and feedback; delivers PDR input and/or PDR delivery as defined by the site's leadership model.
  • Initiates and documents corrective action (write-ups) and partners with HR and leadership. Escalates to Shift Supervisor as needed.
  • Enforces work safety, food safety/SQF, and sanitation requirements. Ensures hazards/near-misses are reported and addressed.
  • Participates in incident investigations and ensures investigation paperwork/reporting is completed with appropriate supervisor involvement.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance for equipment issues and ensures timely escalation when repairs impact flow.
  • Coordinates with Materials/Planning to ensure lines/areas have what they need.
  • Verifies timecards/timekeeping inputs and supports labor deployment decisions consistent with plan and staffing requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Associate's degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years previous work experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively provide feedback regarding departmental and individual performance.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Strong PC and systems experience required.
