Senior Analyst, Integrated Business Processes

Ursa Major

Berthoud, CO • On-site

$98K - $121K/yr

Full-time

Posted 19 days ago

Job description

At our Berthoud, Colorado campus, we design and build advanced liquid rocket engines using modern manufacturing methods, vertically integrated teams, and a culture that values ownership, urgency, and highquality hardware. If you thrive in a fastpaced, handson environment where your work directly impacts real hardware and real missions, you'll fit right in.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Integrated Business Process to be the measurement and enablement engine behind our SIOP cadence. This role builds the cycle data pack, KPI frameworks, forecast accuracy and bias calculations, and opportunity pipeline reporting that make our planning decisions measurable and trusted.

You'll serve as the analytical right hand to the Senior Manager, Planning Operations & SIOP - assembling the numbers behind each SIOP cycle, validating them against ERP/master data, and turning them into clear stories for executive and crossfunctional audience

What You'll Do

Cycle Data Pack & KPI Analytics

  • Assemble the monthly SIOP cycle data pack and issue it ahead of each review so meetings open on data, not datachasing.
  • Build and maintain forecast accuracy and bias calculations by program and segment; ensure they are automated and repeatable.
  • Support the design and administration of KPIs for planning and commercial operations; publish KPI packages and track actions to closure.

Capacity & Financial Reconciliation Analytics

  • Develop capacity and gap analytics to support the supply review, including constraints, schedule pullins, and material risk with the planning team.
  • Support Finance to translate volume plans into revenue and margin views and quantify variance to the AOP.
  • Provide scenario analysis that compares options (e.g., different capacity or demand scenarios) in a way that is easy to understand and act on.

Data Quality, Master Data & Pipeline Administration

  • Administer the opportunity pipeline: maintain sizing, timing, and probability, and report pipeline sufficiency against plan into portfolio and demand reviews.
  • Maintain the assumptions and decision record for the planning cycle so decisions are documented and retrievable.

Enablement, Visualization & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare executivefacing materials (dashboards, slide decks, summaries) that make complex planning data understandable and actionable for leadership.
  • Build tools, templates, and enablement frameworks so Programs, Operations, and Finance can participate in planning without rework.
  • Identify process and data gaps; propose and implement improvements with a focus on automation and reduced manual effort.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Business, or related field.
  • ~2+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, commercial operations, or business analytics.
  • ~2+ years of experience building reporting and dashboards for business and executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and data manipulation skills; ability to work with significant data volumes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience designing planning processes, KPI routines, and governance where little or none existed previously.
  • Experience acting as a cross-functional liaison, comfortable working with technical, operational, and finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications or training in production planning, supply chain, or operations (e.g., APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or similar).
  • Experience supporting business routines, KPI processes, or commercial operations functions.
  • Experience supporting S&OP/SIOP/IBP cycles, including preparation of executive review materials.
  • Experience moving planning logic out of spreadsheets and into ERP or other advanced tools.
  • Experience in highvolume, highmix, or engineertoorder environments.
  • SQL, Power BI, or similar BI tools; familiarity with ERP reporting and underlying data structures.
  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; candidates from other manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply.

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $98,000 - $121,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can't quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
