Job description

Vice President, Integrated Business Planning

We're looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success and their own. The Vice President, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) will build, lead, and institutionalize nVent's enterprise-wide Integrated Business Planning capability. This executive will establish a single planning and decision-making framework that aligns strategy, commercial growth, operations, supply chain, inventory, capital investment, and financial performance across the enterprise. As a newly established capability, the VP, IBP will serve as the primary architect, educator, and change leader responsible for defining what Integrated Business Planning means at nVent, building organizational understanding, and embedding IBP into the company's management operating system. This leader will partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Segment Presidents, ISC leaders, Finance, Commercial, Product Management, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Digital teams to transform planning from a functional process into an enterprise capability that improves decision quality, accelerates growth, increases agility, and drives stronger business performance. Success will be measured by the organization's ability to make better, faster, and more integrated business decisions, not by process compliance alone.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Finance, or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Significant experience leading enterprise-level Sales and Operations Planning, SOE, IBP, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Experience building planning capabilities across complex, global manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional transformations in matrix organizations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, inventory management, finance, and commercial planning processes.
  • Strategic thinker capable of translating long-term strategy into executable plans.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across functions.
  • Strong communication and executive presence.
  • Demonstrated capability to build organizations and develop talent.
  • Change leadership experience in large-scale transformation environments.
  • Proven experience building a new enterprise capability, operating system, or management framework.
  • Demonstrated success driving large-scale organizational change.
  • Experience educating and influencing executive leadership teams.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and build organizational alignment.
  • Capability to lead through influence across a highly matrixed environment.

Benefits to support the lives of our employees Pay Transparency nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $241,500.00 - $359,000.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
