Summary of Position
The Integrated Business Planner plays a critical role in translating demand into actionable supply, inventory, and financial plans that support Rebel Athletic's growth. This role owns short- and long-range planning across styles, colors, and channels, balancing demand signals, production constraints, inventory health, and business risk. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to operate as a true cross-functional partner across Product, Merchandising, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
Demand and Business Planning
  • Own style-, color-, and channel-level demand forecasts across wholesale and retail
  • Translate sales performance, merchandising strategies, and market signals into rolling monthly and seasonal forecasts
  • Lead forecast alignment and reconciliation with Merchandising, Sales, and Marketing partners
  • Develop scenario plans for upside and downside demand, managing product lifecycle from launch through exit

Supply and Production Planning
  • Convert demand forecasts into supply plans, receipt plans, and executable purchase order strategies
  • Issue and manage purchase orders aligned to MOQs, lead times, and factory capacity
  • Communicate long-range forecasts to manufacturing partners to secure production capacity
  • Partner with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and factories to manage constraints, tradeoffs, and priorities

Inventory and Flow Optimization
  • Own inventory strategies by SKU and category, including never-out, A/B/C, seasonal, and exit strategies
  • Build short- and long-range inventory plans that balance in-stock performance, turns, and cash flow
  • Identify and proactively mitigate excess, slow-moving, and at-risk inventory
  • Align inbound receipts with warehouse capacity, labor planning, and logistics execution

Execution, Logistics, and Risk Management
  • Manage end-to-end timing from factory exit through in-warehouse availability
  • Adjust plans in response to transit risk, capacity constraints, or changing business conditions
  • Protect key launches and in-stock dates through proactive replanning
  • Surface risks early with clear options, tradeoffs, and recommendations

Systems, Reporting, and Process Leadership
  • Own planning tools and data integrity across systems, including NetSuite and Excel
  • Define, track, and report on key planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, in-stock, turns, and weeks of supply
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Act as the connective tissue across Product, Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales

Required Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of planning experience in apparel, gear, or related consumer product categories
  • 2-5 years of experience working with overseas manufacturing partners
  • Advanced to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and related planning functions
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Experience supporting both wholesale and retail business models

Core Competencies
  • Strategic Thinking - translates business goals into actionable plans
  • Analytical Rigor - uses data to drive decisions and challenge assumptions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - partners effectively across teams
  • Ownership and Accountability - takes responsibility from plan through execution
  • Agility - adapts quickly to changing priorities and constraints
  • Communication - presents clear insights, risks, and recommendations

Working Conditions

  • Standard business hours with flexibility as needed to support planning cycles and peak seasons
