Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Export Documentation Coordinator for Rockwood TN.  This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as an, Export Documentation Coordinator while learning new ones to assist you in your career.   • Location: Rockwood TN

  • Duration: 1 year+ Project Position

  • Pay Rate $30.00 per hour based on experience

  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

 Export Documentation Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Documentation Coordinator to join the team.  This role is vital in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of international shipments, maintaining compliance with export regulations, and coordinating communication across various departments and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and communicate shipping schedules for export sales on the floor to ensure smooth flow through picking, quality control, and packing.

  • Monitor stock levels, allocate items, and release export orders promptly while addressing back orders efficiently.

  • Collaborate with freight forwarders to obtain booking information, maintain transportation instructions, and document charges on customer orders.

  • Prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shippers' instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Review and validate Bill of Lading, Airwaybill, inland bills, and export declarations for international shipments.

  • Coordinate with International Customer Service and Freight Forwarders to facilitate transport, pickups, and delivery of international orders.

  • Track container shipments using internal and external systems, providing updates upon request.

  • Conduct compliance self-assessment audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Support special projects such as duty drawback initiatives and freight tenders.

  • Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to safety and professional standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the export department’s efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; a degree preferred.

  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance activities.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and work independently.

  • Knowledge of export processes, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination is highly desirable.
