Overview:
Jetro Restaurant Depot is the nation's leading members-only, wholesale cash-and-carry supplier serving independent restaurants, caterers, convenience stores, and retail businesses across 165+ locations in 35 states. Our stores offer bulk quantities of grocery items, beverages, paper goods, cleaning supplies, restaurant equipment, fresh meat, seafood, produce, dairy, a wide selection of frozen foods, wine & spirits and more. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven Export Sales Representative for our Miami location. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial professional passionate about driving sales and support the growth of our customers.
Position Summary
The Export Sales Representative is a key driver of our export sales within our Miami store. Working alongside other sales representatives, you will be the primary point of contact for export customers, managing end-to-end sales process - from order generation and upselling across our 10,000+ SKU catalog to coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate brings strong sales experience, a customer-focused mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced environment and possess the cultural competence to work with a diverse international clientele.
Qualifications
  1. 2+ years of successful sales experience: background in the food/wholesale industry is highly preferred
  2. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field a plus
  3. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required

Key Responsibility
  1. Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing export customers while aggressively identifying and developing new accounts.
  2. Consult with customers to build comprehensive orders, generate accurate order quotes and meet established revenue and margin goals.
  3. Partner with buyers to ensure competitive pricing and coordinate with Export Operations to oversee the pick-up and loading of containers.
  4. Manage invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper application of promotions and coupons, and full compliance with internal audit standards.
  5. Travel to Caribbean, Central and South American countries to strengthen partnerships and develop new customers on a quarterly basis
