Job description

Knife River Billings is accepting applications for an Aggregate Superintendent.

  1. Applicant shall oversee aggregate mining, production, sales, trucking and reclamation operations.
    2. Applicant shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.
    3. Applicant shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel.
  2. This is a full-time position that includes some travel to out of town sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in aggregate sales, washing, crushing, screening, aggregate transfer and or gravel mine operations.
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable driving record.
  • Computer literacy using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (Apex, or other Command Alkon POS systems is a plus)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Must be very reliable, able to work well under pressure, and have the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Need a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must have a strong commitment to safety and the ability to create a strong safety culture throughout the site
