Job description

A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join its team. The firm focuses on advocating for injured individuals with compassion and determination, primarily handling workers' compensation cases. This role requires fluency in Spanish and English to provide clear communication and empathetic support to clients throughout the claims process.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation clients
  • Manage all aspects of workers’ compensation case files, including document collection, filings, and scheduling
  • Draft and file legal forms and documents related to workers’ compensation claims
  • Coordinate hearings and medical evaluations
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, attorneys, and healthcare providers
  • Translate documents and interpret during client meetings as needed
  • Prepare case summaries and maintain organized case notes and timelines
  • Track and ensure all deadlines and case milestones are met
  • Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  • 1–5 years of experience in a legal, case management, or patient intake setting
  • Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation Board procedures, forms, and terminology preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work fully in-office Monday-Friday
