ABOUT TELEGENT

Telegent is a next-generation mobile communications platform redefining how businesses and brands connect people through wireless technology. We provide a software-first, API-driven mobile Platform-as-a-Service (mPaaS) that combines intelligent voice, messaging, data, and unified communications into a single, flexible solution.

At Telegent, we move fast, think creatively, and build technology that makes mobile communications simpler, more powerful, and more adaptive for the future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

're looking for a Staff C# Engineer to take deep ownership of the backend systems that power our AI mobile network. This is a high-impact individual contributor role: you will architect and build the scalable, production-grade services that sit at the core of Telegent's platform.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on API-driven platforms, modern cloud architectures, and mission-critical services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design, build, and own scalable backend services and APIs that power Telegent's AI mobile network platform
  • Lead architecture decisions for C#/.NET systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability at scale
  • Define and enforce engineering standards and best practices across backend development
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems and services
  • Drive improvements in system performance, observability, and operational reliability
  • Partner with AI and infrastructure teams to integrate intelligent capabilities into core platform services
  • Mentor senior engineers and serve as a technical resource across the organization
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and patterns that improve platform quality and developer productivity

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Advanced proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
  • Strong experience building scalable, production-grade backend services
  • Proven ability to own system design and implementation end to end
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical best practices
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Azure for cloud-native backend development and deployment
  • Deep experience with AI development workflows and tools is strongly preferred
  • Experience in the telecom industry is a strong bonus
  • Comfortable operating in a remote, high-autonomy environment
  • Strong written communication skills: you can explain complex systems clearly to both engineers and stakeholders

TECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS

C#, .NET, REST, gRPC, SQL, Azure, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, mPaaS

BENEFITS

  • Competitive compensation package, including performance-based bonus potential and comprehensive health benefits
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision for you and dependents
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Equipment provided
