Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Test Engineer to join our wireless engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans for next-generation wireless features and technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate Wi-Fi functionality, performance, and reliability across enterprise-grade access point platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for wireless features
  • Solid understanding of wireless communication protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
  • Develop test strategies and execute them through automation and manual testing
  • Support development teams in debugging and reproducing issues
  • Clearly communicate and drive multiple projects across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate strong passion, curiosity, and ownership
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Wi-Fi functional and performance testing
  • Good experience and solid understanding of wireless protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
  • Proficiency in Python with prior automation experience
  • Excellent understanding of 802.11 MAC & PHY layer functionality
  • Experience in maintaining & scaling up Wi-Fi test labs
  • Prior experience in validating wireless features on enterprise access points is preferred
  • Wi-Fi certification experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of analyzing over-the-air (OTA) data
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as performance tools, spectrum analyzers, and sniffer tools.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $140,000 to $180,000. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
