Job Title: Intern, RF/Wireless Engineeringย

Job Description:ย 

  • Prepareย componentย drawings and specifications forย highly complexย products that may be electro-optical, opto-mechanicalย or electro-mechanical in natureย 

  • Provide supportย toย engineering andย purchasingย for procurement and selection of parts and materials, prepare nonstandard part and material submittals,ย interfaceย and work with inside and outside labs to interpret test results and define testing for the purposes of assuring that parts are compliant to requirementsย 

  • Effectively communicate with program engineers, management, and customers on technical issues and status of workย 

  • Present results of analysis to program engineers and customers on a regular basis to ensure proper interpretation and understandingย 

  • Act as a technical consultant in areas of expertise and to perform technical reviews of material/component quality documentation including supplier data, test results, etc. to assure conformance toย statedย requirements. Work is closely supervisedย 

  • Follow established procedures and specific, detailed instructions and/or guidance from more senior functional staffย 

Qualifications:ย ย 

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical degree at an accredited university.ย ย 

PAY TRANSPARENCY: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $29.00 per hour - $53.50 per hour.ย This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
