Qorvo's Radio Systems and Test Internships are offered in our Connectivity and Sensors business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Creating automated test software using languages like Python, C, and LabVIEW to control test equipment and SoC's under test to execute test sequences
  • Assisting on the design and development of test hardware solutions to perform complex analog, RF, and digital measurements (e.g. supporting PCB design, sourcing, and assembly related tasks)
  • Performing test equipment evaluation and down selection
  • Supporting analog, RF, and digital characterization testing and data analysis to provide full compliance information on Qorvo SoC products
  • Measuring SoC products and test devices using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, and digital pattern generators
  • Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data, producing clear concise presentations and reports using automation
  • Developing custom tool sets to aid in data visualization and big data analysis, lab efficiency tracking, and lean manufacturing metrics

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Analog/RF/Digital design coursework and/or experience
  • Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers and digital pattern generators
  • EDA Software exposure: ADS, HFSS, Altium, Allegro, Matlab
  • Scripting/Programming exposure: Python, C, Bash, VB, or other object-oriented language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location) 

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
