Job description

We are seeking experienced Windows 11 Desktop Migration Technicians to join an onsite deployment team supporting a large law firm environment. This project involves upgrading and deploying Windows 11 workstations, providing white-glove end-user support, and ensuring a smooth migration experience for attorneys and legal staff.

This is an evening shift position requiring professionalism, strong customer service skills, and prior hands-on desktop deployment experience in enterprise environments.


Responsibilities
  • Perform Windows 11 desktop/laptop migrations and deployments
  • Replace and configure PCs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals
  • Transfer user data, profiles, and settings
  • Install and configure enterprise applications and legal software
  • Provide onsite support to attorneys and staff during and after migrations
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and login issues
  • Document completed work, asset tracking, and deployment status
  • Follow established migration procedures and escalation processes
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of desktop support, deployment, or migration experience
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 deployments and upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience with PC imaging and deployment tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience supporting executive-level or professional users preferred
  • Ability to work onsite during evening hours consistently

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior law firm or professional services environment experience
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, or similar deployment tools
  • Knowledge of VPN, printers, and remote access support
  • A+ certification or equivalent technical experience

  • 100% onsite role
  • Evening shift schedule: 4:30 PM – 9:30/10:00 PM
  • Contract runs through the end of the year with potential extension
