Job description

A Large Healthcare Company in Seattle, WA is hiring a Desktop Support Technician - Windows 11 to join the team for a great opportunity!

Summary:

This position will be supporting the Windows 11 Deployment for the Clinics in the Puget Sound Region This person will be a apart of the overall End User Compute team and will be updating current hardware that is not compatible with the VDI Deployment. Will work with the roving End User Computer Team to go out to the clinics to upgrade the hardware.

Job Description:

  • Analyze, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows 11 Operating systems for end computing devices, system software and drivers.
  • Install and support IT Services' standard desktop hardware and software. Support networked and stand-alone peripherals.
  • Meet all productivity and quality standards or completion rates in the "EDS Service Productivity and Quality Standards" document.
  • Ensure that production systems operate accurately, reliably, and efficiently.
  • Actively manage user relationships to analyze, plan, prioritize and follow up project work and systems requests.
  • Assist other team members with research and problem solving. Provide consultation to other support team members, IT Services project teams and the general user community.
  • Support IT Services standards for infrastructure. Ensure that procedures are followed to ensure the security and integrity of data and software.
  • Assist in the development of strategies for hardware and software architectures, and strategies to ensure their applicability to Medical Center needs.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1.5 years of experience working with Windows OS and Hardware in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience with Windows 11 Deployments required - aiming for 6 months to 1 year
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Experience working in a clinical setting either in support of a hospital organization or clinics and supporting those clinical end users
  • Will need to be familiar with the medical requirements needed for this position
