Job description

Job Title: Windows 11 Migration Specialist(SCCM & Tanium)
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced windows 11 migration specialist with expertise in SCCM(System Center Configuration Manager) and Tanium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the seamless migration of desktops and laptops from previous versions Windows to Windows11 across a large enterprise environment. This role requires hands-on experience with both SCCM and Tanium, along with a deep understanding of OS deployment and endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the migration of Windows 10/older versions to Windows 11 in a large enterprise environment using SCCM and Tanium.
  • Configure, deploy and troubleshoot Windows 11 operating system images via SSCM
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure compatibility with applications, drivers, and other enterprise tools.
  • Monitor and report all the progress of the migration process, providing updates to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating system installation, driver Compatibility and application support.
  • Manage windows11 patching, updates, and feature upgrades using SSCM.
  • Utilize Tanium for endpoint management, real-time monitoring, and policy enforcement during migration.
  • Conduct post-migration assessments to ensure all systems are functioning as expected.
  • Provide end-user support and training during and after the migration process.
  • Document migration processes, best practices, and lessons learned.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience with SCCM (system Center Configuration Manager) for OS deployment, patch management, and software distribution.
  • Hands-on experience with Tanium for endpoint management, software inventory, and security monitoring
  • Strong understanding of windows Operating systems(windows 10, windows 11, and prior versions)
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to OS deployment.
  • Experience with Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (ICD) for creating custom Windows 11 images.
  • Ability to work with Active Directory, Group Policy and other windows management tools.
  • Strong Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment..
