Job description

Summary
The Wholesale Assistant supports the Wholesale Manager by entering and processing wholesale customer orders, coding and processing billing and invoicing transactions, and coordinating order fulfillment. This position would also assist in resolving customer inquiries regarding orders, billing, and shipping, receiving and preparing incoming wholesale merchandise, and maintaining wholesale reporting data records
Responsibilities
  • Enter wholesale customer orders received by phone or email
  • Pull and prepare items for wholesale order fulfillment
  • Prepare and hang incoming wholesale merchandise for stock as needed
  • Receive incoming wholesale merchandise from the distribution center and stores
  • Organize, ticket, and separate wholesale samples
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, billing, and shipping
  • Code and process wholesale billing, invoicing, and payment transactions
  • Prepare wholesale reporting and data management records
  • Escalate issues beyond authorized limits to the Wholesale Manager
  • Communicate and coordinate daily order and account activity with the Wholesale Manager
  • Serve as backup coverage for E-Commerce order pulling, billing, packing/shipping, freight scanning, and transfers
  • Support the Wholesale Manager with order and account administration as directed

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform task quickly and accurately
  • Strong communication skills; self-starter; able to understand and follow directions independently
  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions
  • Have ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk and bend
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Required Experience
  • Experience in NetSuite and Shopify
  • Working knowledge of Excel; comfortable in learning other programs such as AS400, Outlook, and others

Required Education
  • High School or equivalent
