Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our Wellness Center team. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming and efficient experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is comfortable working with individuals receiving mental health services, where confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages as needed
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance, and eligibility
  • Collect co-pays and post payments accurately
  • Maintain patient records, logs, and documentation
  • Manage front desk workflow and ensure efficient patient flow
  • Balance daily receipts and assist with basic financial reporting
  • Provide administrative support (filing, correspondence, mail distribution)
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care
Confidentiality & Work Environment
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient privacy standards

Education & Experience:
