Forklift Operator - 1st Shift | Hiring Immediately
Location: Walford, IA
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Type: Part -Time
Job Summary:
Advance Services is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for a local, family-owned 3PL (third-party logistics) company in Walford, IA. This forklift operator role focuses on loading, unloading, order picking, and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
  • Unload inbound shipments and verify product against shipping documents
  • Move materials to storage locations and document put-away accurately
  • Pick orders and prepare shipments to customer specifications
  • Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently
  • Report shipment discrepancies and inventory issues
  • Perform minor forklift maintenance within employee capability
  • Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience as a forklift operator or warehouse associate preferred
  • Experience in a warehouse or 3PL environment a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
