Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Machine Operator I to join our 1st shift team in Norman, United States. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery to ensure smooth production processes and high-quality output.

Schedule: Friday - Sunday 5am - 5pm plus overtime as needed

  • Set up, operate, and monitor various types of manufacturing equipment for optimal performance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machinery
  • Conduct quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet required specifications
  • Enter production data and generate reports using computer systems
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience working Weekends
  • Proficiency in operating complex machinery and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints accurately
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and preventive maintenance procedures
