Role: Lean Six Sigma Consultant
Exp: 10+yrs

Job Summary
Lean Six Sigma Consultant with 10+ years of experience implementing end-to-end Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive transformative process improvements across the healthcare system.
The consultant should be able to apply Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies, DMAIC frameworks, and change management techniques to:
Optimize clinical and administrative workflows
Reduce patient wait times
Lower operational costs
Enhance overall quality of care
Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks
Foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement
The role requires close collaboration with hospital leadership, clinical staff (physicians and nurses), administrative teams, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead LSS Initiatives:
Plan, facilitate, and execute end-to-end Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt-level projects using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and Kaizen methodologies.
Workflow & Value Stream Mapping:
Map current-state operational workflows across operational areas to identify waste, non-value-added activities, and bottlenecks.
Root Cause Analysis:
Utilize statistical and process-improvement tools such as:
Minitab
Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams
Pareto charts
FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Analyze complex operational problems and develop evidence-based solutions.
Control Plans & Sustainability:
Establish robust metrics, KPIs, and visual management controls to ensure process improvements are sustained over the long term.
Cross-Functional Facilitation:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders, department managers, and executive sponsors, aligning improvement projects with strategic healthcare-system goals.
Training Workshops:
Design and conduct Lean Six Sigma training sessions, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement workshops for staff across all organizational levels.
