Department: Supporting Quality
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: SMC
Reporting To: Aaron Lemkau
Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Champion to lead and execute process improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on PCBA and SMT processes. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance while ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations. This role is a key driver of continuous improvement within the organization, supporting the Quality Department in advancing a culture of operational excellence.
The Lean Six Sigma Champion will lead cross-functional improvement projects, develop internal auditing structures, and establish measurable KPIs that sustain long-term gains in productivity, quality, and process control.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma projects focused on manufacturing process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement across PCBA and SMT production areas.
  • Analyze process data, identify root causes of variation, and implement sustainable corrective actions using DMAIC and Lean methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain an internal auditing structure to monitor continuous improvement performance and compliance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to report progress and validate project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Lean Six Sigma tools, techniques, and data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Train and mentor employees in Lean and Six Sigma principles to strengthen the organization's problem-solving capabilities.
  • Drive standardization of work practices and support 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives across the facility.
  • Ensure all improvements comply with internal quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.
  • Support internal and external audits with data analysis, process documentation, and improvement validation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required (Master Black Belt certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience leading Lean or Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment; PCBA/SMT experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success implementing process improvement initiatives that reduced waste, cycle time, and defects.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills; proficiency with Minitab or similar analysis software preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing and executing internal audit programs for continuous improvement systems.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and related quality system standards.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Reasons you should work for us:
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.
  • Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.
  • 401K with employer contribution.
  • Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.
  • Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.
  • Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.
