Job description

Overview

Experienced, motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Coach to help us advance & scale Lean at FirstHealth. Key work will include developing relationships with system leadership and front-line staff to champion & foster a culture that empowers problem solving & continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities

A successful candidate will utilize their expertise in Lean tools to decrease waste & deliver value to customers. Views complex processes & problems and communicates them in simple understandable terms. Uses analytical and problems-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis & implement solutions.

This role coaches & facilitates multidisciplinary teams in continuous improvement, change management & Lean leader behaviors using basic & advanced process improvement principles & A3 Thinking. This position interacts with staff, providers & leaders across the organization and at all levels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited institution in industrial engineering, business, healthcare or related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in continuous/performance improvement or process/management engineering; Lean Certification/Six Sigma Equivalent required. Operations management experiences preferred. Clinical &/or healthcare experience is a plus.
