The working schedule for this position is as follows:
Friday - Monday 4:00 am-7:00 am

*Primarily responsible for cleaning at the Miller Activity Complex - 1375 W. Plum Creek Parkway*
Salary Range: $17.91 - $24.17
Anticipated Hiring Range: $17.91 - $21.04
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Cleans Town facilities including office areas and restrooms. Sweeps, vacuums, mops, spot cleans and otherwise cares for floors. Dusts furniture, fixtures and equipment. Cleans toilets, sinks, showers, drinking fountains, appliances, gym equipment and glass. Empties waste receptacles
  • Helps ensure public safety by assisting with snow and ice removal on building exteriors
  • Works within the Facilities Division to deliver room/event setup requests in the timeframe requested

Minimum Qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Six (6) months cleaning experience preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications Required: A valid Colorado driver's license
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of equipment, materials, techniques and supplies used in the cleaning of buildings
  • Ability to operate floor buffing machine, scrubber, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, snow blowers and other minor equipment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to understand verbal and written directions
  • Ability to drive to all facilities and to access all areas of all facilities to perform duties
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, holidays and/or weekends as needed

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stoop, kneel and reach, as well as to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and materials of up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate personal computer and office equipment
  • Vision for reading, recording and interpreting information
  • Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and citizens

Work Environment:
  • Works primarily in a clean, comfortable environment

Equipment Used:
  • Uses various cleaning equipment including floor buffing machine, scrubber, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, snow blowers and other minor equipment
  • This position may require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment.

Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check, driving record check and fingerprinting analysis prior to commencing employment.
