Job description

Business Development Manager, Security Integration
Florida

We are hiring a Florida-based Security Business Development Manager for someone already selling security work and ready for a bigger seat. This team is already winning with solid engineering and field support behind them. Compensation is a $90,000 to $130,000 base, plus commission.

What You Get to Do

  • Build new customer relationships across Florida, excluding Miami, with a focus on markets you can drive to and support properly.
  • Sell security integration work including access control, card readers, cameras, and related systems.
  • Bring in new accounts and hit quota through prospecting, industry relationships, and disciplined follow-up.
  • Target work that can be sold and delivered at healthy margins, with 30 percent or better as the expectation.
  • Work closely with operations so sold work can actually be delivered well.
  • Use an existing Florida technical bench, with both service and install capability already in place.
  • Pursue accounts where we can win on responsiveness, technical credibility, and execution.
  • Help grow the Florida business into its next stage, with the potential to move into a larger leadership role as the market expands.

What You Have Already Done

  • Sold security integration work before, specifically around access control, card readers, cameras, or similar systems.
  • Built new accounts in the field instead of only managing handed-down relationships.
  • Developed a real network of facility, security, operations, contractor, or owner relationships in Florida.
  • Shown the energy and consistency required to create pipeline, push deals forward, and close.
  • Worked with technical and operations teams without overselling or creating delivery problems.
  • Challenged weak solutions, asked good questions, and understood how your clients actually make buying decisions.
  • Ideally touched critical infrastructure, NERC CIP environments, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or data center accounts.

Why You Would Do It

This is worth a conversation if you want the support of an established, successful company without disappearing inside a giant organization. They already have sales engineering, technicians, customers, and momentum in Florida. The opportunity is to bring new accounts into a market that is ready to scale, then grow with it as more leaders are created. This is for someone who wants to get after it, wants room to make an impact, and can see the difference between inheriting a book and helping build the next level.
