PYA is seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Healthcare Business Development & Relationship Specialist to support and help drive business development initiatives for our nationally recognized Healthcare Consulting Group. This individual will play an active role in supporting client relationships, referral source engagement, pipeline coordination, and strategic outreach efforts across PYA’s healthcare consulting platform.

The ideal candidate brings over 2 years of business development and relationship management experience and is a proactive communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced professional services environment. This individual will work closely with healthcare consulting leadership, marketing, and business development professionals to strengthen relationships, support growth initiatives, and enhance market visibility across the healthcare industry and while expanding PYA's national presence.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support business development and relationship management efforts for PYA’s Healthcare Consulting Group
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, referral sources, strategic partners, and industry associations
  • Assist with outreach and relationship development efforts involving law firms, private equity firms, venture capital groups, healthcare associations, and channel partners
  • Identify and help support new business opportunities within hospitals, health systems, physician groups, academic medical centers, and other healthcare organizations
  • Support cross-selling initiatives and relationship expansion opportunities across PYA service lines
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare consulting leadership and marketing teams on targeted business development campaigns and strategic outreach initiatives
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, presentations, proposals, conferences, sponsorships, networking events, and client engagement activities
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of activity tracking, pipeline updates, and relationship management reporting within Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing and consulting teams on webinars, thought leadership campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and industry visibility initiatives
  • Help monitor pipeline activity, market feedback, and business development trends to support strategic adjustments to outreach and marketing efforts
  • Research healthcare market trends, prospective clients, referral sources, and emerging opportunities relevant to PYA’s healthcare consulting services
  • Represent PYA professionally during conferences, association meetings, networking events, and partner engagements


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in business development, relationship management, account coordination, client services, marketing, or related role
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Professional services, consulting, healthcare, or B2B relationship management experience preferred
  • Experience working with referral networks, strategic alliances, or channel partnerships is a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with clients and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Willingness to travel periodically for meetings, conferences, and events
