Position Overview


The Wedding Event Coordinator is responsible forday-of wedding coordination and executionof weddings and catered events planned by our Sales and Specialist Team. Youll manage timelines, communicate with clients and vendors, and lead banquet/event staff to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role that requires strong organization, calm under pressure, and excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities


  • Execute weddings and catered events according to contract and timeline
  • Train, supervise, and lead banquet staff
  • Coordinate event flow and ensure all details are completed accurately
  • Communicate with clients and vendors before and during events
  • Inspect venue setup, menus, and timelines prior to event start
  • Remain present throughout the event to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Supervise breakdown and ensure equipment is properly stored


Qualifications

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred
  • Must be flexible and available for weekends, evenings, holidays, and late nights
  • Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to serve alcohol in Maryland


Physical Requirements

  • 10+ hour shifts on your feet
  • Moving tables and chairs
  • Working indoor and outdoor tented events
  • Frequently lifting up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
