Purpose of the Job: 

The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial health and accuracy of Made4net by maintaining reliable financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is responsible for assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes. By delivering timely and accurate financial information, the Staff Accountant helps enable informed decision-making and contributes to the overall efficiency and integrity of the company’s finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  • Verify and perform reconciliations of Balance sheet and key expense accounts.
  • Check for accuracy and completeness in the general and subsidiary ledgers, journals, reports, accounts receivable and payable, researching variances and adjusting as needed to produce error-free financial reports. 
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close process.
  • Assist with various state sales tax filings.
  • Compile cost information to provide insight for annual budget preparation. 
  • Performs other related duties and participates with other special projects as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  • Proven track record of being a motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet critical deadlines.
Computer/Software Knowledge: 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Ability to quickly adapt/learn job specific software systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ClickTime software is a plus.

Pay range: Starting from $70,000, per year salary
