Business Development Manager

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to pursue and establish relationships with new web development clients. This role will also be responsible for increasing sales with existing customers and expanding our web development product portfolio across our current client base. This is a client facing role and to be successful you will have a good understanding of ecommerce and web development.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively acquire new clients for web developments, system integration and web projects
  • Proactively identify and nurture leads to guide them through the decision-making process
  • Own the scoping of web development and technology projects to ensure a seamless project delivery and clear identification of project KPIs, stakeholder collaboration, dependencies, and requirements.
  • Strategize with leadership to identify opportunities to improve our client's technology solutions (to better meet client's needs), opportunities to enhance partnership with existing clients, and opportunities for elevating our client's brand as a leader in e-commerce technology
  • Lead and mentor the internal team, championing both domain knowledge and leadership
  • Support the growth of technology partnerships via trainings on new developments, technology updates, and/or mutual growth strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. (Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related discipline is preferred)
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in technology sales including web development (Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce), systems integrations and other web projects required
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Great attitude and drive to get things done and 'make it happen'.
