Job Description

We are looking for a Web Development Consultant to maintain, support, and develop our internal and external websites. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the maintenance, support, and development of our internal and external websites and solutions

  • Analyze work requests and build or modify web pages as required

  • Provide knowledge transfer to web team members and management

  • Successfully unit test your work and your team's work when required

  • Participate with the business analysts and/or users in system testing

  • Demonstrate a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis with an ability to communicate the information to both technical and non-technical professionals

  • Respond to work requests from managers, staff, and senior management, providing creative solutions to unique issues

  • Collaborate with in-house web team staff to ensure standards and best practices are followed

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 3 Years of experience with HTML5

  • 3 Years of experience with JavaScript

  • 3 Years of experience with CSS3

  • 1 year of experience with Bootstrap

  • 3 Years of experience with JQuery

  • Experience performing daily website updates and creating new site pages on an enterprise website

  • Experience providing feedback on website best practices

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study/experience

  • High level of technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in web development

  • Strong reading comprehension and ability to identify and correct basic errors on web pages

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with JSON technologies

  • Understanding of principles of web design and development

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings

$60-$70 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
