Operations Manager โ€“ Shopify B2B
The Website Operations Manager for B2B will oversee all eCommerce operations across Business-to-Business (B2B) channels on the Shopify platform and support the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) channel. This role ensures seamless online operations, order fulfillment, customer experience, and integration with broader business systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in eCommerce operations, digital fulfillment, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, logistics, and customer support teams.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Shopify Platform Management

Oversee the daily operations of Shopify storefronts for B2B customers and support B2C.

Manage product listings, pricing, collections, and metadata for accuracy and optimization.

Coordinate with IT or digital partners to manage Shopify integrations (ERP, CRM, fulfillment tools, and analytics platforms).

Maintain website uptime, checkout flow, and back-end configurations to ensure optimal performance.

2. Order Management & Fulfillment

Oversee order processing workflows, including payment capture, invoicing, and shipment tracking.

Partner with customer service, fulfillment and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and order quality.

Manage returns, and exchanges in coordination with customer service.

Develop KPIs for order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and return rates.

3. B2B Operations

Manage Shopify B2B accounts, pricing tiers, and custom checkout experiences.

Support wholesale partner onboarding and account management.

Oversee integration of bulk order processes and payment terms.

Coordinate with finance and logistics to handle invoicing, tax compliance, and bulk fulfillment.

4. B2C Operations support

Ensure smooth end-to-end customer experience for individual consumers.

Support promotions, product drops, and seasonal updates on Shopify.

Collaborate with marketing to ensure product merchandising aligns with campaigns.

Analyze customer feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

5. Data & Analytics

Track and report operational KPIs: order volume, fulfillment times, conversion rates, and error resolution.

Leverage Shopify analytics and Google Data Studio (or similar tools) to provide insight into sales and operations trends.

Recommend operational improvements based on data insights.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, sales, IT, and finance to support promotions, launches, and reporting.

Serve as the operational point of contact between eCommerce and other business units for B2B

Train internal teams on Shopify workflows and processes.

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

3โ€“5+ years of eCommerce or operations experience (Shopify experience preferred).

Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C eCommerce models.

Experience with ERP, CRM, and fulfillment system integrations.

Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
