Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a curious, organized, and digitally fluent Digital Content Associate to join our marketing team. This is a junior role built for someone who wants broad exposure across the full digital marketing stack — you'll touch email, content, project coordination, and more. You won't be siloed. You'll learn fast, own real work from day one, and grow into a well-rounded digital marketer.

If you're the type who gets excited about a well-organized campaign brief, notices when an email subject line could be punchier, and thrives in a collaborative environment where no two days look the same — this role is for you.

ABOUT OUR BRANDS

Laird Superfood: Founded by big wave surfer Laird Hamilton, Laird Superfood makes functional food and beverage products — including superfood creamers, coffee, and hydration — built to fuel performance and everyday wellness. The brand blends functional ingredients with clean, simple formulations to help people fuel their best day.

Navitas Organics: Acquired by Laird Superfood in early 2026, Navitas Organics is a superfood company specializing in organic, nutrient-dense ingredients like cacao, maca, and chia. The brand is rooted in sourcing integrity and making functional superfoods accessible for everyday cooking, baking, and wellness routines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Project Management

  • Help manage the marketing calendar, tracking campaigns, content deadlines, and cross-functional deliverables
  • Coordinate between internal teams (creative, product, ecommerce) and external agencies or contractors to keep projects moving on time
  • Maintain project management tools — creating briefs, updating timelines, and flagging blockers
  • Support campaign launches from briefing through QA, helping ensure assets and copy are ready and accurate before go-live

Retention Marketing & CRM

  • Assist in building, scheduling, and QA-ing email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo
  • Help manage and maintain audience segments, flow triggers, and suppression lists
  • Assist with A/B test setup and document learnings to improve future sends
  • Help maintain list hygiene and assist with loyalty or subscription program communications

Content Management

  • Own the organization and maintenance of digital asset libraries — keeping files named, versioned, and accessible across the team
  • Support content updates on the website (Shopify) including product copy, imagery, banners, and landing pages
  • Coordinate content requests — writing clear briefs for creative and design teams and tracking requests through completion
  • Help maintain a content calendar and ensure assets are delivered on time across email, social, and site

General Digital Marketing Support

  • Support paid social and SEO teams with asset coordination and content needs as they arise
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices and bring relevant ideas to the team
  • Assist with performance reporting across channels using Claude — pulling data from Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Shopify, and other platforms into digestible summaries

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, content, or ecommerce role (internships count)
  • Familiarity with email marketing — Klaviyo experience is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in Shopify or a comparable ecommerce platform
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written communication skills — you can write a clear brief, a sharp subject line, or a concise status update
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Notion, or similar)
  • Analytically curious — you're comfortable pulling basic reports and making sense of what the numbers say
  • A self-starter who asks questions and doesn't wait to be told what to do next
  • Experience using Claude to improve workflows and maximize outputs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience at a DTC or CPG brand
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo flows and segmentation
  • Familiarity with Meta ads & paid media
  • Basic design skills in Canva, Adobe or Figma — enough to resize an asset or make a minor edit

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
