Job description

We are looking for a VP of IT to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.


This is a high-impact executive opportunity for a technology leader to shape overall IT strategy and drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives, in a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH.


Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the organization’s overall IT strategy in alignment with business goals
  • Lead IT infrastructure, applications, and operations across the enterprise
  • Partner with executive leadership on technology investment decisions and strategic planning
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT organization across multiple disciplines
  • Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of enterprise technology systems
  • Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives across the business
  • Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Represent IT in executive and board-level discussions as needed
  • Ensure IT strategy supports compliance, risk management, and business continuity goals

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including prior executive-level experience
  • Proven track record building and leading enterprise IT organizations
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, applications, security, and IT governance
