The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and has personally participated in ERP implementations, configurations, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable discussing business strategy with executive leadership, collaborating with plant operations teams on the manufacturing floor, and working directly within technology platforms to drive operational improvements.

  • Ensure D365 F&O effectively supports manufacturing, inventory, procurement, warehouse, supply chain, and financial operations.
  • Manage ERP upgrades, releases, and long-term platform strategy.

  • Serve as the primary technology advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • Lead technology planning, budgeting, prioritization, and resource allocation activities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, customer service, and commercial operations.

Business Process Improvement

  • Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on process standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including end-user support, infrastructure, network services, business applications, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure system availability, reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Manage relationships with managed service providers, software vendors, implementation partners, and consultants.
  • Establish and maintain IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor technology risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain cybersecurity best practices and support employee awareness initiatives.
  • Support compliance, governance, and information security requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop internal IT personnel and external technology partners.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Provide leadership during technology projects, implementations, and organizational change initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive information technology experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation within a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
