This leader will oversee core learning offerings, including the effectiveness of UTA's LMS, manager and leadership development, and professional skills, with a strong emphasis on content design, practical application, and continuous improvement. The role partners closely with People Business Partners and business leaders to ensure learning and coaching solutions are efficient, future-ready, and supported by simple, effective processes and tools that meaningfully improve outcomes.

  • Oversee core learning offerings (ex: UTA University) - learning calendar, communications, facilitation, and evaluation, with a strong focus on quality, execution rigor, and consistency.
  • Maintain accountability for the effectiveness of UTA's LMS and learning ecosystem, including content organization, learning campaigns, and continuous improvement of the learner experience.

  • Lead the integration of learning and coaching into performance management processes (goal setting, check-ins, reviews, growth plans) to ensure development is embedded in how work gets done.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to align learning priorities with workforce plans, succession needs, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor OKRs for Learning & Development (e.g., participation, completion, manager effectiveness, internal mobility, engagement), using data and feedback to drive decisions.

What You Will Need
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management, including at least 5 years leading a global L&D function at scale.
  • Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-wide learning strategies that drive measurable business impact, leadership growth, and performance improvement.
  • Deep expertise in manager and leadership development, adult learning principles, coaching methodologies, and performance enablement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams across regions and functions.
  • Strong experience with LMS governance and optimization, content design, and learning technologies that create engaging and seamless learner experiences.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical learning solutions that are scalable and outcomes-focused.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior executives, HR, and business leaders in a creative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong program management and operational rigor, ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficiency of global learning initiatives.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Psychology, or related field preferred.
