Position Overview

Weโ€™re looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development to join our Executive Leadership Team. In this role, youโ€™ll spearhead the firmโ€™s strategic growth through Fortune 500โ€“1000 enterprise account development, focusing on executive relationship building and high-value contract acquisition. Youโ€™ll work closely with C-level stakeholders internally and externally to establish Milrose as the premier compliance partner in verticals such as finance, retail, healthcare, and real estate.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Strategic Enterprise Development (80%)

  • Build and manage a pipeline of Fortune 500โ€“1000 prospects with $2M+ contract potential.
  • Establish and deepen C-suite relationships at target accounts.
  • Lead enterprise strategy planning, stakeholder mapping, and pursuit tactics.
  • Deliver executive presentations, proposals, and lead complex contract negotiations.
  • Navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (12โ€“24+ months).

Industry Specialization & Market Intelligence

  • Develop vertical expertise across real estate, construction, finance, retail, and healthcare.
  • Represent Milrose as a thought leader through speaking engagements and publications.
  • Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities within target markets.

Strategic Planning & Organizational Development (20%)

  • Define and implement enterprise go-to-market and revenue strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align solutions with client needs.
  • Build scalable business development processes and successful frameworks.
  • Mentor and support sales team development in enterprise engagement.

What Youโ€™ll Bring

Required:

  • 15+ years of progressive enterprise-level B2B business development experience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required; MBA from top-tier program strongly preferred.
  • Track record of managing $20M+ in revenue and winning multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in business development, sales strategy, or executive roles.
  • Exceptional ability to build and sustain C-level relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presence.

Preferred:

  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or regulated B2B sectors.
  • Deep network in real estate, construction, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with complex organizational decision-making and procurement processes.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This position is based in New York City, with a hybrid work schedule.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM โ€“ 5 PM.
  • Travel requirements: Moderate to frequent, based on client engagement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $200K โ€“ $225K, based on experience and qualifications.
