Job description

The Volunteer Coordinator provides support to agencies by means of volunteer recruitment, supervision, and documentation as identified by the Volunteer Services Manager

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location:

Larkspur Office with occasional travel to our Sonoma Office

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities includeĀ (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate recruitment, screening, orientation, training, and retention of volunteers in both clinical and nonclinical roles
  • Select, assign, and remain an overall resource for volunteers
  • Maintain volunteer personnel files according to BTBH policy and procedures
  • Maintain current and updated volunteer records in the electronic database
  • Provide education/orientation to agency staff regarding assignment, supervision, and maintaining effective working relationships with volunteers

Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree (A. ) or equivalent from two-year college; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years' experience coordinating volunteer programs preferred

Pay Range:
$28.00 - $38.00 hourlyĀ
