Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas

Department/Specialty: Administration

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p

How you'll make an impact in this role

Manage volunteer operations.

  • Coordinate, integrate, and implement volunteer representative services within all departments requesting volunteer assistance.
  • Manage the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the services offered.
  • Determine the qualifications and competence of volunteer personnel. Select, recruit and manage volunteers. Implements orientation and in-service training.
  • Manage department functions and maintain appropriate quality control through continuous assessment andimprovement practices. Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts andvendor relations.
  • Participate on various committees and councils to identify opportunities for patient services improvement and subsequently deploy volunteer services accordingly.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Volunteer Services preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
