Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, Red deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for Home Centre Associate to join our dynamic team. We're currently looking for a part-time Home Centre Associate to work in the Garden Centre at our Red Deer Home Centre.

Position: Home Centre Associate

Part-time:  24 - 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and respond to customer questions 

  • Familiarize yourself with our product range

  • Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge

  • Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions

  • Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders and quotes 

  • Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits

  • Assist in merchandise displays

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills

  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
