Job description

We are seeking two mid-level Desktop Tech's with Cisco IP phone deployment experience to join our team on a contract basis for a 12 month engagement . The successful candidates will play a key role in the deployment of Cisco voice solutions at our clients locations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile project and contribute to the modernization of a critical healthcare infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Cisco IP phones and other unified communications endpoints.

• Assist with the configuration and management of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

• Implement and troubleshoot dial plans, voicemail, and hunt groups.

• Provide support for analog voice gateways and other legacy systems.

• Collaborate with the network and other teams on the ongoing network segmentation project.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of voice quality and connectivity issues.

• Create and maintain documentation for voice-related configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

• Familiarity with Cisco IP phones, both wired and wireless.

• Understanding of voice protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP.

• Experience with analog voice gateways and POTS lines.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
