HIRING IMMEDIATELY: CROSS DOCK MANAGER IN ROSEVILLE, CA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Cross Dock Manager to join our team in Roseville, California. This individual will be responsible for providing managerial support to the Cross-Dock Department and assist in other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator, high level of computer and WMS system literacy, and more listed below.   • Starting at $36.06/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Full time schedule
  • Located in Roseville, California

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises the associates in the Cross-Dock Department, Shipping/Receiving, and office clerks of the warehouse.
  • Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.
  • Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.
  • Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examines discrepancy reports and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.
  • Overall responsibility for the supervision of good sanitation practices throughout the Cross-Dock department and warehouse/offices.
  • Supervises the practice of seal policies placed on loads.
  • Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder
  • Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise the Cross-Dock department.
  • High level of computer and WMS system literacy.
  • Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.
  • Some college level management education and/or 2 years warehouse supervising in wholesale industry
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows and Office software
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
  • Lifting up to 10lbs
  • Sitting at a computer for long periods of time
  • Climbing stairs
  • Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures.
