At Franciscan, our Outreach and Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, overseeing, and ensuring successful execution of outreach events and programs.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Work closely with marketing and communications department leadership to determine if an event should be part of the marketing strategy.

  • Oversee and develop various aspects of major or minor events (virtual and in-person).Thoroughly researching and coordinating each item in a creative and efficient and timely manner.

  • Professionally and effectively work with other departments and community groups on pertinent event details to ensure efficient and high-quality events.

  • Manages and coordinate special events, communications, and budgets (e.g., blessings, grand openings, anniversaries, support for foundation and community health improvement events, and others as assigned.

  • Manage and coordinate booth set up and staffing for health screenings and external event participation.Managevolunteers, staff, screeners, and vendors for events.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications team to develop collateral materials, signage, presentations, displays, and media relations necessary for events.

  • Primarily coordinate CBISA reporting and associated activities. Submit CBISA information and participate in community health improvement discussions.In addition, support any activities that are required to meet accreditation standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business, Healthcare or Related Field Required

  • 3 years Event planning and coordination, preferably in a healthcare environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive project management experience. Preferred
