Job description

– This part-time employment opportunity is through Delfina Medical Group –

Objective: The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.

About Us: Delfina Medical Group and Delfina Care Inc. provide a leading pregnancy care data platform and clinical services to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

About You: Our ideal Doula is one that has experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. You are supportive about providing virtual support with both 1:1 and group education.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
  • Ensure patient's engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers
  • Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization

Qualifications:

  • DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified
    • Medicaid (Medi-Cal) approved is a plus
  • Strong communication and conversational skills
  • Experience with Web and mobile technologies
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
  • Telehealth experience is a plus
  • Ideally based in San Joaquin County

Compensation: $30-35 USD per hour

The compensation range for this part-time employment position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
