 Clerical/ Special Order Receiving

Job Description

Responsibilities include

  • Answering phones, taking messages
  • Assist salespeople with filing and checking the status of orders
  • Receiving and billing special orders, receiving and billing transfers, finalizing transfers, billing and manifesting orders, ordering stock materials, calling customers to advise of backorders or that their material is in.

  • Ensure that all vendor returns are picked up by vendor.

  • Set up and maintain RTV’s (return to vendor) in the PO thru completion.

  • Work with sales team and purchasing department as needed to complete day to day responsibilities.

  • Responsible for appearance of work area. Must be kept orderly and clean.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate should be organized
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be reliable and willing to learn
  • MS Office experience
  • Industry experience a plus
  • A+ or ERP experience a plus
