Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily financial and administrative operations for a growing team in Hollywood, Florida. This part-time, in-office opportunity is a contract position with the potential to become permanent, suited for someone who is comfortable balancing bookkeeping tasks with permit-related coordination and general office support. The ideal candidate brings strong accuracy, sound organizational skills, and hands-on experience using QuickBooks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain financial records by recording transactions, updating ledgers, and keeping bookkeeping documentation organized and accurate.
• Use QuickBooks to process routine accounting activities, reconcile information, and support day-to-day financial tracking.
• Enter data into internal records and spreadsheets with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
• Assist with permitting activities by preparing documentation, tracking submissions, and following up on required approvals.
• Provide administrative support for office operations, including handling general clerical and coordination tasks as needed.
• Review financial and administrative information for completeness and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.• At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a closely related accounting support role.
• Practical experience working with QuickBooks for routine bookkeeping functions.
• Familiarity with building permits and related documentation processes.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work part-time in an in-office setting in Hollywood, Florida.
