Vice President of Sales

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for an established, customer-focused organization based in North Carolina. This executive will report directly to the CEO, sit on the senior leadership team, and oversee sales across multi-location retail and outside sales channels.

The ideal candidate is a strategic but hands-on leader who can evaluate the current organization, develop high-performing teams, introduce greater structure and accountability, and identify new opportunities for sustainable revenue growth.

Vice President of Sales Benefits/Compensation:

Vice President of Sales Requirements/Responsibilities:
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including senior leadership over managers or directors
  • Lead the overall strategy across multi-location retail and outside/field sales channels
  • Evaluate the existing sales organization and implement the structure, talent, processes, and accountability needed to support continued growth
  • Establish performance standards, KPIs, forecasting processes, compensation plans, and consistent operating rhythms
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, market penetration, and cross-selling
  • Identify and launch new products, partnerships, sales channels, and revenue opportunities
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service leadership
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts, business plans, and performance reporting to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Develop and coach current sales leaders while maintaining a visible presence with frontline employees
  • Remain actively involved in store visits, field-sales activity, customer meetings, and community engagement
  • P&L, budgeting, revenue planning, and performance-management experience
  • Experience leading both B2C and B2B sales
  • Experience within telecommunications, consumer services, subscription services, or another multi-channel environment is preferred
  • Strong record of career progression, team development, and sustained revenue growth
  • Authentic, humble, and confident leadership style
  • Willingness to relocate and work regularly within the company’s North Carolina market
