Job description

Lenoir City Animal Clinic is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both people and pets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
This part-time position will work 2-3 weekdays per week plus a rotating Saturday schedule (approximately 2 Saturdays per month) and plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for clients while supporting the daily flow of the hospital.
  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalismย 
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questionsย 
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flowย 
  • Check clients in and out efficiently and accuratelyย 
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial recordsย 
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and follow-up careย 
  • Maintain patient records and update client information in the practice management systemย 
  • Support veterinarians and technicians with administrative and clerical tasksย 
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcomingย 
  • Provide excellent customer service while multitasking in a busy clinical environment
  • Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferredย 
  • Experience in a medical, dental, or other fast-paced healthcare front desk role consideredย 
  • Strong customer service and communication skillsย 
  • Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanorย 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailย 
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressureย 
  • Comfortable handling phones, scheduling software, and payment processingย 
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn veterinary softwareย 
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-orientedย 
  • Must be available to work 2-3 weekdays each week and rotating Saturdays
