Job description

Valuation Associate Do you like to travel? Are you ready to join a close‐knit company where people stay? As a Traveling Valuation Associate, you will travel throughout the U.S.

while conducting appraisals for government entities, municipalities, higher‐ed institutions and other client properties. A lot of travel will be involved in this position (60%). Flight, rental‐car and hotel points accumulated can be used for personal use.

At Centurisk, you will receive the type of specialized training that can shape your career. Our training begins with a 2‐week classroom‐style course curriculum followed by up to 60 days of shadowed field training. In addition, we offer a project‐completion bonus plan.

This is a tremendous entry‐level opportunity, but we also encourage candidates with an appraisal background to apply. Our company gladly invests in certifications (Marshall, Swift, ASA) for its Appraisers, once they qualify. Please read our desired qualifications.

Makes initial judgment on specific assets inspected and determines if the asset should be included in the valuation report (buildings, machinery & equipment, land improvements, etc.). Documents asset attributes for valuation and reporting purposes. Applies direct, standard and normal costing techniques with consistency and accuracy (valuation of subject assets).

Develops project‐management skills (project preparation, prioritizing tasks, effective client communication, scheduling, monitoring productivity, making decisions, solving problems, completing all necessary tasks efficiently, client follow‐up and appraiser feedback). Reports hours worked, expenses incurred and status of projects on a regular, timely basis. Completes work in a timely manner as directed by Project Managers and Regional Managers.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by management. Qualifications An undergraduate degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

A valid driver's license and dependable transportation to accommodate travel requirements. Ability to travel 60% to 70% of the time, including air travel. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast‐paced, deadline‐oriented environment.

Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills. Willingness to pursue Marshall and Swift certifications (a training program we invest in for our employees). Project‐based and annual company bonuses awarded based on performance.
