About the Role:

As a Valuation Director you’ll lead project teams and manage the full lifecycle of valuation projects. You’ll oversee two to three financial analysts and a writer, guiding them through complex appraisals. This is an opportunity to apply your financial expertise in a role that combines dynamic thinking, strategic analysis, client interaction, and industry research.


What You’ll Do:

· Lead Valuation Projects: Manage and direct the end-to-end appraisal process with precision and efficiency.

· Communicate with Clients & Companies: Serve as the primary point of contact for both the appraised company and the client, ensuring clear and effective communication.

· Perform Industry Research & Risk Evaluation: Conduct in-depth reviews of financial reporting, interview company management, and perform industry research to assess the financial health of the company and identify transaction risks.

· Market Analysis & Strategy: Utilize market research and Company-provided data to develop a deep understanding of the collateral and related market(s). Work with internal review team to develop logical, practical liquidation strategies for the appraised inventory.

· Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with internal analysts and writers to create detailed financial exhibits and written reports that support the inventory valuation and liquidation strategy.

· Present Findings: Present valuation conclusions to internal reviewers and participate in follow-up meetings with company and client contacts, offering clear and actionable insights.


What You Bring:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or professional certifications a plus).

· Experience: 10+ years in asset-based lending, asset trading, distressed debt, turnaround advising, equity research, business valuation, or related financial fields.

· Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Impeccable attention to detail.

· Leadership: Proven experience leading teams or managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

· Adaptability: Comfortable handling dynamic project requirements and quickly learning new industries and markets.
