The Director will be a key member of the Valuation & Advisory Services team, responsible for delivering appraisal reports, market studies, consulting assignments, and portfolio valuations. Working closely with senior leadership, the role involves managing complex engagements, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives. The Director will also mentor emerging professionals and leverage advanced internal technology platforms to enhance the quality, efficiency, and insight of valuation deliverables.

This position is 100% commission based.  


  • Prepare appraisal reports
  • Provide consistent mentorship, guidance and feedback to Valuation Associates working under your supervision
  • Property inspections as needed.
  • Develop, and be responsible for Client relationship management on an ongoing basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to write reports, effective oral and written communication skills, and an aptitude for continuous learning.
  • Ability to self-motivate and effectively manage competing priorities while providing excellent support to clients with an uncompromised high caliber work product.
  • Work in a team environment and cooperate with others to meet objectives.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and diligent in delivering uncompromised, high-quality reports to clients under strict deadlines.
  • Effectively and tactfully handling difficult or sensitive issues.
  • Pay strong attention to detail.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments and proactively bring new ideas and solutions to the business.
  • Travel as the reasonable needs of the Company require.

  • 7 + years of relevant work experience, or combination of relevant work experience and education
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant functional area including Bachelor of Commerce or MBA or similar, etc
  • AACI Designation, in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
  • A member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the market, appraisal process and commercial real estate industry.
  • Able to communicate complex valuation matters and issues in a clear and concise and manner.
  • Effectively and tactfully handling difficult or sensitive issues
  • Pay strong attention to detail
